Things have been a bit quiet here lately. For a while there wasn’t anything newsworthy, then I got really busy. But busy is a good thing because that means a new product is coming! I need to finish the assembly instructions, but our new kit is going to blow your socks off!
You know something is good when you can’t stop staring at it, and I can’t seem to help myself!
Anyhow, here’s a little teaser.
As before, Jonathan Roberts is the texture artist, and if you know his maps, you might see something familiar here.
Finally, there’s less than a week left in our user-build photo contest. The winner will receive $50 worth of Rite Publishing goodies! So if you’ve built something with Lone Tree Games’ papercraft, take a picture and share it on the forums.

hey, I love the dungeon kit #1. Is #2 in the works?
We have some dungeon items in the works. Do you have anything in particular you’re looking for?
Hm…a 2d flat tile that shows stairs leading down. In dungeon kit #1, the stairs are great but assuming that most GM’s won’t be using some sort of multi-tiered battlemap, the stairs are really only good for steps leading up.
Also, I think layered (PDF layers) walls just like the one in dungeon kit #1 would be a nice addition so there is some variety other than cobblestone. Extra props not found in kit 1 too.
Rounded corners?
Good suggestions! I can’t believe we forgot the stairs down! Doh!
I’m a bit confused on what you mean by layered walls like the dungeon kit. Are you wanting layered textures for the walls to change their appearance? Layered textures on the ground?
I am working on a really cool feature to allow people to make changes to the ground texture to create custom battle map ground textures. It should be a big hit!
If you have more suggestions, feel free to post them in the forums.
